12 and 19 December 2009 Tangiaro Kiwi Close Encounter – learn about kiwi and possibly hold one one off three birds which are still closely monitored. as it has its 6 monthly health check

23, 24,25 February 2010 A daytrip from the Port Charles Wharf to Cuvier Island, a predator free nature reserve 2 hours by boat east off Coromandel's Coast. Experience saddlebacks, kakariki, skinks and gecko while you are on the guided walk starting from the old lighthouse settlement.


All funds raised go to kiwi habitat restoration in the Northern Coromandel.

Finally, we are proud to announce that we have signed on to assist D.O.C (Dept of Conservation) to monitor three young kiwi that live on our property.

With notice, we are happy to take groups into the bush to see our kiwi.

Currently, we have approximately 25 couples of Kiwi living on our property.
