Tangiaro Kiwi Retreat's location means access to a range of outdoor activities. We can offer you bush walks, bird watching and visits with our resident kiwi for small groups. These are prearranged upon your booking and weather depending.
Our close proximity to some of the most beautiful beaches in New Zealand that have some of the most productive fishing grounds means avid lovers of fishing, diving and boating will be well taken care of. With notice, we are pleased to arrange fishing trips for you. Our property also has mountain bikes available so that if the mood gets you, you can hop on a bike and take to the hills.
We are also very pleased that upon a group booking of any size we can take you on an authentic Maori culture experience with a visit to one of our local Maori Marae (meeting places) where you be able to see Maori artwork and culture up close.
